About The Sugar Syndicate
We're Craig and Amanda Thomson — two people from Guelph, Ontario who found something people genuinely love and decided to build something real around it.
The Sugar Syndicate started at local markets and hobby shows. We'd set up a table, hand out samples, and watch people's faces change the moment they tried freeze-dried candy for the first time. That reaction — the surprise, the "how is this so good?" — never gets old.
We're not a factory. We're not a corporation. We're a husband and wife operation that takes what we do seriously.
Every bag is CFIA-inspected and made to real food safety standards. That means real food safety standards, consistent quality, and a product we'd sell to our own family — because we do.
We started in Guelph. We ship anywhere in Canada.
